There’s something satisfying about having a new tune to get into your hands.
Over five weeks, Pascal will take you through five Acadian tunes, one at a time. He breaks each melody into manageable phrases so you can really hear what’s going on, then gives you the space to work through it at your own pace.
Along the way, you’ll get a closer feel for Pascal’s phrasing, swing, and approach to the music, while adding five more tunes to your own repertoire.

A founding member of the internationally acclaimed Acadian group Vishtèn, Pascal has spent more than two decades playing, writing, recording, and sharing Acadian traditional music at home and around the world.
His fiddle playing has the swing, lift, and character that so many people love about Acadian music. He has a strong instinct for the little details that make a tune feel good, and he knows how to slow those details down so they’re easier to hear and understand.
In the course, Pascal breaks each tune into manageable pieces and helps you work through the melody in a way that feels clear and approachable. You get to hear how he phrases the tune, where the swing comes from, and how the pieces fit together.
