Our 5-week bilingual (English & French) online courses are designed to help you develop new skills, deepen your knowledge, and connect with a community of like-minded learners.

📚 What You’ll Learn:
 This round of PEI Trad Academy features five tunes and lessons — a fresh challenge for returning students, and a perfect starting point for first-timers. Each week, you'll receive a new lesson focused on these five tunes, with specific instruction tailored to your instrument or dance style. You’ll also gain skills you can apply to other traditional music.

🎻 Melody Classes

 

Learn to play all five tunes on fiddle or whistle, step-by-step.

🎹 Accompaniment Classes

  • Piano: Master chording techniques and rhythms for these tunes.
  • Bodhrán & Foot Percussion: Learn versatile rhythms to accompany not only these five tunes but also other traditional music.

🕺 Stepdance Classes

 

Explore basic steps and combinations to dance along in true Acadian style!
