A Fall Session to Keep You Playing
We all know how easy it is to say, “I haven’t had much time to practice.”
Sometimes what we really need is a reason to pick the instrument back up.
That’s what Fall Tune Encore is for.
For five weeks, you’ll have one Acadian tune to focus on each week, with clear lessons and resources to help you work through the music at your own pace.
Maybe you want to add some new tunes to your repertoire. Maybe you want to spend more time with the swing, groove, rhythm, or steps that make Acadian music feel the way it does. Or maybe you simply want something new and fun waiting for you when you have time to play.
Five tunes. Five weeks. A little structure, a lot of music, and a good reason to keep playing.

Learn From Musicians Who Live the Tradition
The Trad Academy grew out of the way this music has always been shared.
At kitchen parties, dances, sessions, festivals, and family gatherings, somebody plays a tune, somebody else picks it up, and before long the music belongs to another generation too.
Our instructors have spent years playing and sharing Acadian traditional music at home and around the world. The lessons are rooted in that lived experience, in the swing, groove, rhythm, steps, and little musical instincts that are hard to learn from a page alone.
We’re proud to share what we know and help more people make this music part of their own lives.
